Genre Research Activity - Action Genre
Action Genre The typical target audience of the Action is young males aged around 16-25 years old. Most action films have large amounts of fast-paced scenes, violence, and sexual content which would be the gratifications this audience will look for. The action conventions include clearly defined hero, victim, and villain; Hero's object of desire is to stop the villain and save the victim; Power divide between hero and villain is large and Speech in praise of the villain.
